Rothiemurchus Lodge is now fully open and available to all our former clientele (Serving personnel and their families, veterans and cadets) in addition to recognised Youth organisations including School groups. The Lodge is now an independent Charity regulated by OSCR, and no longer a 'Service Charity'.

Rothiemurchus Lodge offers year-round, affordable, self-catering accommodation in the heart of the stunning Cairngorm Mountains.
Rothiemurchus Lodge provides accommodation for regular and ex-regular members of the Armed Forces in addition to Reserves, MoD Civilians and Cadet Forces. The families of these groups are also welcome. The Lodge is now also available for use by the Scout Association, Girl Guide Association and other recognised Youth organisations including schools, outside the MoD family.
The Lodge has 102 beds over three separate accommodation buildings. The breath-taking Cairngorms and Spey Valley provide the perfect surroundings for skiing, mountain biking, climbing, hillwalking, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing and much more.

There are a huge range of activities offered by Rothiemurchus and the lively town of Aviemore.
Prices at Rothiemurchus Lodge start from as little as £20.00 per person per night, and family rooms are available at special prices. A discount is available for Blue Light Card holders and the Lodge Manager can direct guests towards restaurants and activities in the local area that offer special rates.

Ideal for couples and families with en-suite facilities. Rooms can be configured into double or single beds depending on requirement. There are four en-suite units: one sleeping five, two sleeping four, and one twin room. It has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge/dining area.
Ideal for small or medium groups and, to a lesser extent, families. It consists mainly of bunkhouse accommodation and has one six-berth room, two two-berth rooms, two four-berth rooms and one twin room. It has separate male and female showers and toilets, lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
Ideal for large or small groups and consists mainly of bunkhouse accommodation. On two floors: upper floor has six four-berth rooms, two six-berth rooms and one two-berth room. The ground floor has eight four-berth rooms. Each floor has its own lounge, dining room, kitchen, showers and toilets.
The Rothiemurchus Lodge Charity is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. It has three Trustees responsible for its overall governance and direction and an Operations Committee responsible for day-to-day operations at the Lodge.
